GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

1. Server & Timer

1. The clock will be set at the server. The countdown timer at the top right corner of the screen will display the remaining time available for you to complete the examination.
2. When the timer reaches zero, the examination will end by itself. You need not terminate the examination or submit your paper.

2. Question Palette Symbols

The Question Palette displayed on the right side of the screen will show the status of each question using one of the following symbols:

• You have not visited the question yet.
• You have not answered the question.
• You have answered the question.
• You have NOT answered the question, but have marked the question for review.
• ✔ You have answered the question, but marked it for review.

Note: The “Mark for Review” status simply indicates that you would like to look at that question again. If a question is answered and marked for review, the answer will be considered for evaluation unless modified by the candidate.

Navigating to a Question

1. Click on the question number in the Question Palette to go to that numbered question directly. (This will NOT save your answer.)
2. Click on Save & Next to save your answer and move to the next question.
3. Click on Mark for Review & Next to save your answer, mark it for review, and move to the next question.

Important: Your answer will NOT be saved if you navigate without clicking Save & Next.

You can view all the questions by clicking on the Question Paper button.

Answering a Question

For Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)

1. Select one answer from the 4 options (A, B, C, D).
2. To deselect, click the selected option again or click Clear Response.
3. To change your answer, click another option.
4. To save your answer, you MUST click Save & Next.

For Numerical Answer Type Questions

1. Enter your answer using the virtual numerical keypad.
2. A fraction (e.g., -0.3 or -.3) can be entered with or without "0" before decimal.
3. Up to four decimal places are allowed (e.g., 12.5435 or 0.003 or -932.6711).
4. To clear your answer, click Clear Response.
5. To save your answer, you MUST click Save & Next.

Evaluation Rule

ONLY questions for which answers are saved or marked for review after answering will be considered for evaluation.

Sections

• Sections are displayed on the top bar of the screen.
• Click on the section name to view that section.
• The currently active section will be highlighted.
• After clicking Save & Next on the last question of a section, you will automatically move to the next section.
